Good Morning and Welcome to the XJO 'Christmas Eve' Thursday Thread
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
News for Today and the Holiday Period (AEDST)
The XJO closed higher on Wednesday
Spread remained about average, volume reduced again, close was midbar.
As mentioned yesterday, selling pressure has not been particularly strong so far this week (but either has demand).
The tight clustering and the 'pressing' nature of the recent closes, suggests the Index has wanted to move higher.....
However, the lack of volume has made it difficult to sustain any of the gains this week.
Volume is likely to reduce again today, as the trading session will close early (at 2:10 Sydney time), so don't expect anything too exciting.
