earnie or e =..... buy orders at 3.5c, page-2

I'm not clear on this (and it is of some relevance to me given my portfolio's position with APG) as to what exactly you are implying here. Is it:
a) they are propping up the buy side encouraging people to take bites of the shares they in fact are wanting to SELL as they want to get out (and don't want more shares at 3.5), or
b) they are patiently waiting for people to sell them more at 3.5 (because they are greedy and know that they will soon "explode" after the announcement that never happened), and are tricking them into selling (but this doesn't fit with moving to the bottom of the queue which seems to imply avoiding any buying and presumably means they will mysteriously vanish if threatened).
Sorry if I am being a bit thick but some of the subtleties of market maneuvres are too smart for me...
