al1 - the one thing i think you can be certain of, if the cash is being held in $US don't expect OZL to make a public announcement about it anytime soon.

i suggest that all concerned holders ring the company and get a definitive answer on this - in no way could it be considered confidential or commercially sensitive.

the only parties who could gain advantage from withholding this type of information would be those idiotic enough to have sat on a mountain of money while it eroded away beneath them.

the secondary point which i hadn't given a great deal of consideration to before is the issue of interest - if the funds were held in $US then there would have been infinitesimal interest earnt. this would be a double disaster.
