Very informative grant62 .What was the proportion of TLS in the EPS ?
In the USA there are another two issues that encroach on the EPS result : The non expensing of executives options , and the non expensing of R&D . In both cases the end result is a HIGHER EPS than it should really be .
Not all US listed companies use the said three factors to inflate their EPS but it quite safe to say that the majority do so .
Grant62 , what do you think of the proposed changes in Australian accounting and whether these changes will encroach on our companies EPS in future reporting ?
