Analysts expect OZ Minerals to post a net profit of around $A74.2m for fiscal2008. This compares with a final combined profit of $A1.6bn for Oxiana andZinifex. OZ itself has conceded that its 2008 profit will be lower, and warnedthat further asset write-downs are possible. OZ shares eased $A0.10 to $A0.63 on19 November 2008, reducing its market value to around $A2bn. This compares with$A12bn at the time of the merger
