Geology, the fossil record, etc, etc, has nothing to do with the 'mind of man' - it is there and it exists regardless of the 'mind of man,' and what the evidence itself shows has nothing to do with the biblical picture of the world, a world flood, sudden creation and the rest being myth.
On the contrary, it is the biblical world view that is the work of the 'mind of man' - the work of ancient minds that did not have a fraction of the information about the natural world that we have.
