I would have thought the most obvious take from earth hour was turning things off to save MONEY. Not that I need to be told by some hippies to do that, I really don't want to be giving more to the parasites at the electricity company, so I do it on a regular basis.

Funny though, we have idiots here who profess to running up their own power bills to somehow spite hippies? LOL
