My earlier post was a little foolish, and disrespectful, apologies.
this line is what upset me
"and chemicals they want to demonize despite the advances in health and longevity, the manufacture of products we use, and the extraordinary lifestyle we enjoy with abundant food and protection against the multitude of insect and rodent pests that afflict us, along with the many species of weeds that affect crops".
Wont say too much - either you have some knowledge of soils and water tables or you do not. Either you get mono-culture verses permaculture or you do not.
Either you have some knowledge of fresh diverse mineral rich foods as oppose to mass produced, processed or even great looking fruit and vegetables that are devoid of full mineral content and grown in a way that damages soils and water tables.
I love technology, but we do need to agree on some reference points on how to measure costs and benefits. I think quality of air, water, soils is one valid place to start. Distribution of benefits and costs of course is even more tricky.
