Let's not minimise EM's significance here. The CIDM model is a collaborative structure. I don't think that simply means its a bunch of independent guys in startups scattered around the city in garages (not to knock such teams - AP is one such team!). I understand it to mean it's more like a suite of complementary businesses that can collaborate and act in unison if required and agreed upon, sharing resources to minimise costs. I would be fairly confident that a FAB schedule is fixed once it is agreed on, prioritised, and set. For sure even in a dedicated FAB business there will be some juggling of agendas and priorities for customers, but so far EM has arranged for our production priority to be done in volume, not just in 1, but in 3 FABs concurrently. Where else could we go to get that done?

From statement to the April 4C:

"... We have now been permitted to reveal that EarthMountain has been producing our wafers in three independent fabrication facilities; 2 of which are 8” fabs. EarthMountain’s rather massive investment and extensive collaboration with the company to employ 3 concurrent fabrication facilities is designed for expansion of production capacity, to create fabrication redundancy as well as to reduce production costs.
EarthMountain recently advised that while there are certain unknowns in MEMS fabrication, their pace of progress should permit them to commence delivery of assembled and fully tested chips prior to the end of June 2023 (previously May 2023). ..."
