Thanks Bob. If that's correct, the software is likely to be identical in the ASIC for each chip, but each chip could have a different look-up table to match the characteristics of its pixels. I return to the suggestion that this would require testing of each chip to establish its unique pixel look-up table. If not, variations within a production run would not be catered for. That suggests mass testing of every chip in every production run. Do you agree with that?
