The number of "free energy" or over-unity patent applications that have been rejected is phenomenal.
Only two that have been granted as far as I know.
One has been proven to consume the field of "permanent magnets, so isn't actually producing "free" energy.
The other uses an combination of buoyancy & gravity, so is actually converting gravity into energy IIRC.
I don't think AKP could have had so many patents granted to date without having to have provided some proof if there was any doubt in the examiners' minds and if they have had to provide proof, it was obviously successful.
That said, I think there's probably some crucial elements required to produce the chips and get them to work that won't have been patented, specifically to protect against replication.
Maybe some software or maths that hasn't been fully described publicly.
