If you take steps to do what you can in your own backyard, what is wrong with that?

Landy, you, me or most others cannot do much about the destruction of the Amazon Rain Forest, we can grumble or thump our chests but what else?

I didn’t look at the vid because I’ve watched plenty, was it just the cutting down?
Was it cutting it down for the wood products?
Was it cutting it down for cattle grazing land?
Was it both?
Was it the fires?

The massive fires over the last few years in that area is a direct result of the EU banning S American lumbar products to be imported.
Banning South American wood didn’t save the forest from being cut down, all it did was leave no alternative to value add so the forest cut down for cattle production was burnt.

I just wish that the powerful would understand the phrase “Work smarter not harder “.

We don’t need to be rabid about this topic just do what we can.
