This blinkered propagandist would appreciate a source. I'll use the NASA data which I assume you accept as reliable?

"About half of the warming in the last century was pre-1940 - nobody attributes this to anthropomorphic CO2. It then cooled about .5C til about the mid-70s (at a time when CO2 ommissions were increasing exponentially).

I suppose sometime around 1970-1975 is where you'd prefer to mark the staring point."

None of this has any relevance to the point I was making.

When 1998 is taken out of the picture (i.e starting from 1997 or 1999, or just looking at the trend line) you can see a large increase in global temperature in the last 10 years.
