Perhaps with a federal election looming, we are getting a bit 'hair-triggered'.

Howard and Rudd sure got stuck into each other yesterday in Question Time.
Race has been a touchy issue in Aussie politics ever since Pauline Hanson based 'One Nation' on it and stole votes from the Libs, Nats and Labor.
That would not have been a problem if Beazley and Howard had not held an obscene pre-election auction to claw back voters by trying to out-Hanson Hanson at being nasty to migrants, Aboriginal people, Asians and people who are 'not like us'.
I lived through the 1950s once and I'm not keen on being dragged back there cos that's where a leader who shall remain nameless feels relaxed and comfortable.
