A seismic event disrupting or closing an underground mine is always a possibility. Perhaps this area carries higher risk of this happening.

My approach to risk is to diversify across a portfolio of goldies.

At this stage I see no reason to reduce/sell my holding in MML, but that does not mean I am happy with its performance or its management. I believe the share will get over $1.00 if production and costs stay on track and the USD POG takes off over 1600. However, I do not hold a lot of MML shares compared to what you had, and MML represents less than 6% of my portfolio.
