I spent a some effort a couple of years back developing EAs but my programming skills n trading skills were pretty useless at the time.
I reckon there is no hamrm in testing out EAs and am impressed with your current ploy of risking very little while you test one out.
Personally I am not into purchasing an EA, and hope in my dotage to have more time to write em.
We do have one regular here Triptizine, who appears pretty much a whizz at writing EAs and I think a couple of others lurking around.
There's also some dedicated Metatrader scripting forums out there in the internet, though danged if I can remember em. You may even find some more information regarding reviews of specific EAs or "robots" I know I've seen em...
