For a while I lived in Wairarapa NZ and while out on the East cost have offen heard stories about oil seepage on farmland in that area. I though this might be an “old wives tale” but when I looked into it a bit more seems there is allot of oil speculation history in this area.
I am keen to see Tap drill the East coast basin, they acquired seismic data for this area in Feb 06. There does not seem to be any mention of a time for drilling this area.
Anyone have information on this?
