No glee but it could be significant to the East Coast input suppliers for the coming summer crop. Not to mention the effect on future sales with farmers' balance sheets potentially looking a bit sick. Throw in declining land values ...
I reckon we have a subprime story unfolding in agriculture and that is not good news to anyone ... all you have to do is watch grain futures and they are still to make a bottom.
