Should big Mac for example, be the instrument that has shorted this organisation for the averaging down strategy, it must be recognised that this action could lead to great returns or just to a larger share of a losing investment.
Based on Capital raisings and other support provided by Big Mac to central, their averaging down requires some significant at play movement and transactions. For this reason alone, I anticipate that the share price remains depressed for some time to come.
As stated prior, short term pain but viewed as being a positive for the longer term investment. It is a shame that the strategy that may be employed at the moment by application of shorts was not reversed investment in which they support an upward movement appreciation strategy, this may come mid 2017.
In regards to Gas sales Agreement(s), I suggest you review the steady stream of news in which central have concerns with pipeline tariffs. Until such a time tariffs’ are mandated by legislation, it would not be in the best interest of central to sign any GSA with Jemena in current environment.
However, central are required to explore for more gas discoveries and/or define existing discoveries in close proximity to infrastructure, this may be Ooramina or any of the three existing fields that are able to produce gas for central. The questions remains, where will this money come from, is averaging down part of a future dilution plan, who knows.
By the way, Ooraminna Gas Field have the potential to add significant reserves that could be processed using Dingo infrastructure, now owned by Central. A program of seismic reprocessing and acquisition in conjunction with detailed surface mapping is planned to progress appraisal of the field. I would anticipate that a seismic announcement be presented to shareholders by way of the ASX in the not to distant future, but refer you back to money and Big Mac.
All my own thoughts based on reading between the lines, company web site and a number of other news related feed sources.
