    prior to the most recent cap raise, the board owned 30% of the company (so they alone couldn't compete a demerger), and the top 20 (including the board), owned around 70%.

    so in order to get any demerger across the line the terms are going to have to be at least somewhat favourable to shareholders if management want to get the top 20s on board with the idea. that scenario would probably be quite ok because those in the top 20 will no doubt want their pound of flesh in the demerger, which is good news for the rest of us.

    talking hypotheticals for a moment - if GRV enjoys monumental success, you can bet your bottom dollar others will want to take our success away from us. so in my view the thing to watch out for is the gradual accumulation of shares by a single party, probably one of the big boys, that is looking for a hostile take over. that would be a worst case scenario for us in the rank and file. because that would result in a butchering of the company that leaves us with the worst deal.

    the best way to mitigate against that? IMO we should accumulate as much as we can now and not sell until copper is being dumped into trucks under the name GRV.

    all IMO, not advice, DYOR etc etc etc
