I recall from one of the older threads earlier in the year someone mentioned it had happened in this area or nearby with another company, a demerger. That was where it originated from and was first discussed.
I would be pretty upset if this did happen to us, seems a natural progression to start production at Alpha in 2022 and have those high margin profits coming in to then fund a lot of the costs towards getting Georgina up and running, and i am sure our directors will see this in the same way.
Though also you are right, Alpha and Georgina are 2 vastly different projects and areas of expertise, so although i do not think a demerger will happen for the reasons noted above, i still think there is a small chance it might.
