"Every West Australian will effectively hand $1800 to people across the rest of the country under the latest plan to carve up the goods and services tax.
Under the Commonwealth Grants Commission's plans, WA will get just $1.9 billion of the total $57 billion to be collected in the coming year.
If it got its population share, WA would get $6.4 billion.
The $4.5 billion transfer from WA shoppers back to the rest of the Commonwealth equates to $1800 for every man, woman and child in the State."
