The basic theory of evolution has been confirmed by so many points of evidence across 150 plus years against the rabid opposition of Creationist, come orthodox religious belief and it has been increasingly proven up and confirmed with more and more evidence filling in all those missing links as time goes on so that today science accepts evolution as a self-evident fact.

Evolution will never be undone as a factual state of nature, it has been confirmed more with every passing year. More than 98% of scientists accept evolution as a fact, though they do argue about its details.

The real question is why do the religious think evolution contradicts Creation, or diminishes God in any way?

Might not evolution be Creation in action, after all if God is eternal so then is Creation.
