I dunno bout that prophet, the spx futs spiked on the jobs news and as for xjo, as long as usa economy is strong then its good for us. The jobs data means that the subrime issue won't be as bad as first thought it might be, and that the collective us consumer will stay strong. The historic fact is that us markes keep on doing well as long as interest rates are on a tightening bias because a tightening bias means growth is continuing. But your point about interest carges and in my case, time decay, over the four day break are spot on. I'm wondering how my trading warrants will suffer.
