️ The Pagan Lie of Easter vs. The Holy Truth of Passover ✝️

A wake-up call to all Christians—Catholic, Protestant, and beyond.
I know this will not sit easy with most, but let’s lay out some facts here for those who truly want to know the truth.

What I am presenting here is easily backed by Scripture and history, to prove and show the undeniable differences between Easter and Passover.
As with all paganism that has been Christianised—thanks to the Roman Empire’s strategy to unite faith with sun-worship and idolatry—the world today is more confused than ever. Even atheists and non-believers adhere to these traditions of men without questioning their origin. Like blinded sheep or heads in the sand, they follow rituals that mock God, glorify pagan deities, and violate His Word.

Passover vs. Easter 2025 – A Stark Contrast

In 2025, here are the real dates:
    • Passover (Pesach) begins at sunset on April 12 and ends at sunset on April 20 (biblically: 14th to 21st of Aviv/Nisan).
    • Easter Sunday falls on April 20, 2025the very last day of Passover, but make no mistake: it has nothing to do with it.
Easter is calculated based on the first Sunday after the full moon following the spring equinox, a system rooted in Babylonian lunar worship, not biblical instruction.

    Where Did Easter Come From?

The word Easter is not found in the original texts of Scripture (except in a mistranslation of Acts 12:4 in the KJV, where the correct word is Passover).
It comes from Ishtar—the Babylonian goddess of sex and fertility. The Encyclopedia Britannica confirms:
“The English word ‘Easter’ is derived from the name of a pagan spring festival.”
    Encyclopedia Britannica, “Easter”
Rabbits are symbols of sexual fertility. Eggs represent fertility and rebirth. None of this has anything to do with the resurrection of Yeshua. These are pagan fertility symbols, dressed up in church-approved wrapping.

A Sickening Practice – Aphrodisiacs for Children?

Let’s be blunt: Chocolate is a known aphrodisiac, especially dark chocolate. So what humanity done?
We give sexually symbolic chocolate eggs to children in honor of a festival named after a goddess of sex, wrapped in the name of “Jesus.” We hold sunrise services, which were originally in honor of the sun god, and pass it off as holy.
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil...”
    — Isaiah 5:20

    The Churches Have Sold Out

Catholics and Protestants alike have embraced this wicked festival. Churches hold egg hunts on the very grounds where God is supposedly worshipped. Sermons are preached, choirs sing, and children run around looking for fertility symbols.
Even the Catholic Church admits it absorbed pagan festivals:
“Easter is not of Christian origin. It is another of those many instances in which the Church has absorbed a pagan festival.”
    Catholic Encyclopedia, 1913, “Easter”
Yet instead of reforming, the Protestants have followed Rome’s lead.

    The True, Set-Apart Feast: Passover

Passover is not a Jewish invention. It is YHWH’s appointed time, given to all who love Him:
“These are the appointed feasts of Adonai, holy convocations which you are to proclaim in their appointed season. During the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month in the evening, is Adonai’s Passover.”
    — Leviticus 23:4–5 (
Yeshua kept Passover (Luke 22:15). He didn’t abolish it—He fulfilled it, becoming the Passover Lamb:
“Messiah, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed for us. So let us celebrate the feast—not with old hametz (leaven)... but with unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.”
    — 1 Corinthians 5:7–8

    How to Keep Passover Biblically

    1. Remove leaven (symbol of sin) from your home – Exodus 12:15
    2. Celebrate on the 14th of Aviv at twilight, not the Roman date – Exodus 12:6
    3. Eat unleavened bread for 7 days – Exodus 12:18
    4. Remember Yeshua as the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world – John 1:29
    5. Refrain from treating it as a ritual, and instead keep it as a memorial of freedom from slavery—both in Egypt and from sin.

    ⚔️ Come Out of Babylon

To everyone still embracing Easter out of tradition, culture, or family convenience: Repent. Turn back. Come out of Babylon.
“Come out of her, My people, so that you will not participate in her sins and receive her plagues.”

    — Revelation 18:4
“In vain do they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.”
    — Matthew 15:9
This is not just about a holiday. It’s about obedience, truth, and honoring God the way He commanded—not how Rome or modern culture decided.

    The Bottom Line

    Easter is a lie.
    Rooted in paganism.
Connected to sex gods, fertility symbols, and sun worship.
    Nowhere authorized in the Bible.
    Passover is truth.
    Given by YHWH Himself.
    Fulfilled in Yeshua.
    Still to be honored today.

A Final Cry to True Believers

To all who claim the name of Messiah—to all who say they love Yeshua: it's time to wake up.
Stop justifying the traditions of man. Stop sugarcoating paganism. Stop calling something holy when God has not called it holy.
“You are to be holy to Me, for I, Adonai, am holy, and have set you apart from the peoples, so that you would be Mine.”
    — Leviticus 20:26
You’ve been called out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9). That means walking away from anything that mocks God, no matter how normal, fun, or harmless it looks on the outside.
This is not about legalism—it’s about loyalty. It’s about honoring YHWH the way He commanded, not the way Rome corrupted it.
If you love Him, you will keep His commandments (John 14:15).
If you follow Him, you will keep His appointed times (Leviticus 23).
If you belong to Him, you will reject the devil’s lies and return to the truth of the true Passover Lamb.

“Therefore, come out from among them and be separate, says Adonai. Touch no unclean thing. Then I will take you in.”
    — 2 Corinthians 6:17

    Return to the ancient path.
    Reject the counterfeit.
    Keep the true Passover.
    Honor the Lamb.
    Come out of Babylon.
