The fundamentals are really good with this one. Unusually, the market hasn't yet caught up with the recent upgrade to profit forecasts to over $40m by June 15. That compares to $27m the year before.
The East Coast housing market is strong. There's no reason that this shouldn't continue, with rates set to stay low. 2016 will be an even better year than 2015, due to the delay in some completions. With prices firm, it's safe to say that the land AVJ bought a few years ago will yield some great profits.
There have also been a string of recent positive announcements, including a new $500million multi currency debt facility to fuel growth.
Yet the stock is on an prospective earnings multiple of 6x.
This should be a dollar stock.
It's also tightly held, with the main shareholder owning 50%.
