Looking again at the slides in the last presentation on major projects, AVJ is absolutely underpinned for growth for at least the next 2-3 years. The bubble in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney is of little concern to AVJ's types of housing developments, where low interest rates, rising demand, and a gentle uptick in prices all work in AVJ's favour. Land bought in 2011, for example, will be going out at really good margins in 2015-16.
I reckon profits will be in the $55-70m range in 2015-6. That makes the shares massively cheap. Plus there should be at least a 2c final dividend, maybe 3c.
IMO, this should comfortably be a dollar after publication of their results in August.
Enough from me till I get some feedback from at least one HC member !
