The SMM board has sold its shareholders down the gurgler by giving Areva supply to a metal which it may be impossible to obtain at all on a given date. In these circumstances the dollar cost becomes irrelevant to a utility faced with the lights going out. Given that the said dollars are ultimately obtained by forming circles of magnetism in any number required.
So Areva has achieved a possible supply for the cost of a small blocking stake which may well stand on their books as a good investment in its own right.
Oh well we only stole this place from the abo's anyway.
