Lived in Fanny Bay then Nightcliff 84-87 ... loved the 6m tides ... you could check out fishing spots at low tide then come back later and fish them. Our 2 yo at the time could swim the length of our pool and duck dive to the bottom at the deep end ... a character I knew at the time used to put a plastic chair in the shallow end of his pool and read the Saturday paper ... a fun, young place.
