easy split pea soup recipe video (has bacon)

I've tried this easy recipe as per the video instructions and was surprised how easy it was and how very satisfying it was as well. Unfortunately for the non meat eaters there's some animal content to add, but you can just add some parmesan cheese in its place or even some saut�ed mushrooms. Serve up with Turkish bread grilled with a little oil and a glass of wine to finish it off.
