With the strong currency you would be crazy to ignore the opportunities the strong Oz dollar is giving in investing in overseas markets. in some case there is a 20 to 30% discount in value terms than was the case a few months ago. Given the signals from the RBA re inflation yesterday our currency is destined to soar higher as further interest rate rises becomes a distinct possibility.That will mean that oz shares will remain relatively unattractive especially those not providing dividends. Thats not to say theres no value at the moment for those that hold a medium to long term position. The revival of the US economy(which appears some way off) is the key to the SP success of this company and you can either choose to sit and wait for this or take advantage of these very opportunistic trading conditions IMO
