I've said similar before, whilst there's little evidence to support it, its logical BP may be closely tracking outcome and mgt may be looking to revert with a 'signed, sealed and delivered' ... it would explain the attitude toward PR/SR and (sale to BP) is (source here) stated strategy.

Lux is supposedly angry at only doubling his money, which is strange, but its not like his views are devoid of merit, there's just no alternative case demonstrated by mangerial comms ...which imo is central issue to SP and vol here. Tolerated by incumbents and FOMO and sub par, but presumably acknowledged by MM stating intent to depart (source here). imo ... if your in the seat, you do the best you can possibly do, esp with others money. Equally, its not just MM, its the board... anyway stock holding on FOMO (currently)

Frankly, hype aside, as I've said before 'tidying up' in Dec if thats what quarterly suggests, and what 3rd 'coupla weeks' in Qrtly ... we cant be that far off, so FOMO makes sense imo.. the drag could very well be BP talks, not required to disclose to market.
