Had dinner with big hedge player who knows absolutely nothing of the stock (not even the ticker), but supposed that maybe its easier to let the stock slide of its own accord rather than bring an adverse announcement out with elevated SP.
To extrapolate the hypothetical, SP drops, the new entrants leave, announcement is average fluffed up with 'future opps'. Fewer, more loyal SH remain to placate.
Genuinely thought we'd get something update wise after such a drop. Really irritated we haven’t.
