Hi Salus,
Copy of email I sent just now.
To Mr. Keith Cullen,
Hi Keith,
I have been following your business now for several months, ever since Huntleys Small Company Guide mentioned it in their investmet analysis.
I think the company has been making good progress, and is consolidating its base quite well, based on the information I have seen, however, I have one concern and that is with the name and design of the website. If you are seeking to expand your business to the Asian community, and I sincerely hope you are, then I feel a more pleasing and intuitive graphic interface is required for the website as well as a shorter, more catchy name. Sports acumen is not an appealing name for a foreign market and in my experience with the Asian market, I would suggest a name change is you are seeking to enter the lucrative Asian arena.
As an expatriate Australian living and working in the field of marketing and public relations in Asia for the past 7 years, I have found that in order to reach the Asian market, companies need excellence in their presentation. Asians are particularly judgemental of how a company perceives itself and what image is portrayed. Most Asians connect with images and graphics and tend to avoid text based presentations, which include lengthy business presentations, in depth company reports and announcements and websites. In order to capture interest from the Asian market, may I suggest that the company make some changes to their website appearance, create and easier interface and perhaps set up a Japanese and Chinese web portal.
The gambling and betting markets in both Japan and China are huge and both men and women are consitently known to be heavy gamblers of horses, boat races, Mahjong, Casino games and Pachinko ( japanese/Korean version of slot machines). Asians are frequently looking for new betting and gambling opportunties and given that the Asian market is growing considerably quicker than other regional markets, I feel it would be in Ebet's interest to make adequate research into the Asian market and mindset, perhaps setup a representative office and as a futher step to evolving the Ebet business model, dedicating a portion of Ebet's programs to Asian investors.
Should you require more information of the Asian market, please contact me at your convenience.
Kind Regards
Steve West
