Ivan, you are probably correct about how the scenario will play out. Hopefully it can appreciate a fair bit before a takeover is launched.

I held MYOB as well, I don't think they could do too much about it, from memory, as instos wanted to sell. I don't think the founder wanted to sell at that price but Archer may have got enough support to get it over the line.

Same thing happened with DCA Group and CVC sold part of it less than a year later for a massive profit.
