    ? You mean they thought they had the mosquito vector Ae. albopictus eradicated? I doubt that, so I'm not sure what you mean unless you are just trying to scare ppl like everyone else here. Dengue fever doesn't get "Eradicated" it just dies out in some countries where it is not endemic, usually over the dry/winter seasons when mosquito numbers fall, then "can" be re-introduced if vector numbers see the the potential R(naught) value at a high enough level that the virus will take hold when somebody bring it into the country. Australia is one of these countries though our vector is Ae. aegypti and is North of Gympie. Chikungunya is much the same I believe, Zika virus is another.
