They set up the inquiry as a method to bypass difficult questions and get out of the mess. It was all going ok until the "Rudd Royal Commission" media started to ask hard questions.
All that is coming out of this mess is the sheer damage to the Labour Party and Dan's oversight on the situation. People have died due to the decisions\lack of oversight. Surely just from the fact that people have died and the oversight has been next to zero, Dan has to at some point accept his role in it all. I guess his Pride is getting in the way and he wants to get the virus under control before he will accept his role (or lack of oversight even).
