    Now add another $300 USD to that. I agree medical expenditure has risen, but it is well known that the cost of healthcare in the States is ridiculous compared to other comparative 1st-world countries.

    It's why American's travel for healthcare. Heck - there was even a movie about it - Dallas Buyers Club.
