    Live view your focus to get the best clarity. The moon is very bright compared to the background and needs a low iso. Say max around 200 only. Then adjust the time setting.
    After a couple of test shots to adjust you will get some good images.
    If your camera has sufficient pixels then the crop function is your friend.
