Now don't shoot me I've looked at multiple ASX here. And it seems ART is frost overvalued based on its current growth rate, revenues an balance sheet compared to other marketplace and ecommerce. Anyone here that can justify ART outrageously high Revenue multiples for its market cap valuation? And why on earth anyone here thinks the share price should be heading to one dollar?
Interesting to do some comparisons of several ecommerce stocks. What I like about Redbibble is their somewhat unique and custom offering is a very different play to the likes of TPW or Kogan who mass produce stuff of fairly low quality that looks good and generally just onsells third party products and a bit of their own with Kogan.
REDBUBBLE last half 353 million revenue 42 million EBITDA and 120 million in cash balance 895million MC
mydeal; last quarter 8.3 million revenue lost 2 million may do about 30 million revenue for year. Market cap 154 million
ART doing about 26 million revenue valued at 494 million about 400 million shares issued
KOGAN 1.17 billion market cap 100 million shares issued shareprice 11 dollars 414 million revenue in their last half 39 million EBITDA
Booktopia 360 million MC 140 million shares issued done about 177 million revenue currently likely to do about 250 million for year share price 2.60
Tpw 1.2 billion MC 120 million shares issued 161 million revenue 14.8 million EBITDA for last half
Just looking at this data it's clear to see ART is grossly overvalued compared to its other ecommerce and marketplace peers.
I'd say Kogan, Redbubble and Booktopia all doing 50-100 percent YoY growth from last half results are really undervalued.
tpw is growing really well but it's got a revenue to market cap multiple of about 4x and a EBITDA multiple of about 40x and also seems overvalued to its peers.
mydeal market cap is 5x its yearly revenues and it lost 2 million dollars on lastest quarter but has a healthy 45 million dollar balance.
If Redbubble had a 4-5x multiple on yearly revenue that would mean it would have a market cap of about 2.4-3 billion or a SP about 9-10 dollars....
Redbubble definitely looks under valued against its peers.
