Then when more and more people in their 30s, 40s and 50s start to keel over, the reluctance will spread. Sorry mate, your social life is basically over at 30 now, your happy go lucky mask wearing social life that is.
Then it's online department store shopping, online grocery shopping, a few takeaways delivered. Do I have to go into the office, do I have to work.
The great irony is that there is no 'freedom' in a country where the virus runs loose, the very act of opening up coincident with high case numbers brings about waves of lower and lower economic activity. Vaccine effectiveness waning after 3 months, you can never catch up.
Covid zero is the only answer - we all have to learn to live without Gladys and Morrison.
