Don't overlook the doomsayers are an industry within themselves and really no better than the fed, RBA etc because they are pushing books on how to avoid the calamity, subscriptions to newletters etc. If this were to happen no amount of reading or subscriptions will save the economy its games over. These people are also cashing in on the final days, if that is what does happen. They are using very basic psychology based on your fear, that's capitalism at its best?
