Having comprehensively lost the debate on the economy due to the mountain of positive data that has emerged, now it's back to stopping the boats again.

Recent scenes of Joe Hockey lost for words in the face of 4.3% GDP, 40,000 new jobs & comments from the RBA that we have been too negative about our economy were at best unedifying. Tony Abbott's refusal to engage in the debate has been absolutely stunning.

The bloke who scared the pants of everyone from mine workers to Great Grandmas about our economy by predicting armaggeddon from Labor's great big new taxes has been exposed as the emperor without clothes. Now he is desperately trying to cover his grubby tracks.

    Fair dinkum, what a disgrace!

After having pursued Craig Thomson from one end of Australia to the other, why no updates from him about the legal proceedings involving Kathy Jackson & the HSU?

Oh no, it's back to the boats & the same old tired attempt to drive a wedge between Australians while insulting our Asian neighbours.
