Oil and Mineral resources Minister Eng. Sufian Allaw said that the technical committees completed the first phase of the international tender for oil exploration, development and production in eight blocks, covering about 40 percent of the area of Syria announced by the Oil Ministry and the General Organization of Petroleum last March.

The media plays a huge role in the degridation and distortion of the truth behind stories. More often then none the stories that are played through the medias eyes are far from the truth.

I have a close friend who is from the arabic nation and he once quoted me " don't rely on the news you read in the papers, take what you hear with a pinch of salt"

Once again, this is just my opinion. Oil production in block 9 and syria infact if found will grow and flow well after we have moved on :)
