If the WA government in their wisdom decided to build a gas fired power station.
How much gas would they need to run the plant ..... obviously that depends on the size of the power station ... ok .....

So that asks the question how much more power does WA need for the next fifty years.
Does it need another loy yang.
Loy Yang is about 2500megawatts and they burn about 3500 tonnes of brown coal to produce it per hour.

I reckon that means a lot of gas.

So how much gas have we got ..... well corybas is coal seam gas not shale but if we got 2 million cubic ft of gas per day from each of our wells.
One well occupies approx 80 acres and we have approx 30,000acres which have the potential to produce, so that is 375 wells.

Goodness ...... thats a lot of moola er gas.
