States and Commonwealth fund health and both do a poor job trying to push costs to the other! Efficiency of taxes is one of my bug bears.

Consumption or GST is relatively efficient. I buy a cheap 20k car and pay 2k ish GST. I pay a $250000 car and pay $25000 plus L.C.T.

The states get the GST! Multiple taxation types and double taxation types are not in any way efficient

Add the Councils Health Services and Health is a very costly mess plus which some win from and many have little access to. It is about efficiency in my thoughts.

Economic and taxation distortions and Health hell.
