I am certainly not expert but Cjliebs but my understanding from public sources is that the SILEX technology has a number of applications including chlorine and molybdenum. By way of an example I refer you to the paper prepared by the US Department of Energy in 2005 titled "Nuclear Proliferation Technology Trends Analysis" which stated:
“The SILEX technology has applications other than uranium enrichment that are also being pursued, including both silicon and carbon enrichment.”
This does seem consistent with what the Moose Man is saying right? I am always happy to hear constructive comments so if you believe this is wrong by all means please let us know why you came to that conclusion.
