I can't think of an economist anywhere that gets more than 40% of there guarded predictions correct.

They would all fail as Bookmakers so who are they to listen to.

Give me one that saw the "GFC" coming 2 years in advance and ranted a raved about it, warning all and sundry about its cause and what would happen.

Most of them hide under a rock until the tide goes out and then they do an autopsy on the economy.

There nothing but historians with a bent on the economy.
