Sadly for you there are no partisan hackery points to win for your team here. Both sides are complicity and have no genuine desire to identify and repair what is wrong with housing in this country.
That said... it was liberal legislation that started the housing bubble decades ago. Then they were the ones in power for 10 years and did nothing. I would like to see labor be much more aggressive to resolve these issues but supply is only one part of the problem. The housing bubble is the primary problem for Australia.
