Do you think people might have just borrowed a bit too much money when rates were near zero??? It's only political if you believe that governments shifted the levers. Personally I do not however central banks moved rates too low. People jumped at the money and now some are paying the price...it's called an economic cycle. Our Economy unless there is some black swan event around the corner will be fine.
